This is the Pearce Grip S&W M&P Shield .45 ACP grip extension, which adds a 3/4″ to your Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 factory magazine.

This Shield 45 magazine extension replaces the factory magazine baseplate, and does not interfere with other factory magazine components. Giving a finger extension, this Pearce Grip extension provides increased control.

This does not alter the capacity of the magazine.
