Length of pull is the distance between the trigger and the butt pad of the stock, which rests against your shoulder. Different shooting styles can benefit from a shorter or longer length of pull, so it’s always recommended to consider how short or long you’d like your length of pull to be prior to purchasing a stock.
Most stocks are extremely easy to replace, often requiring only a single tool or no tools at all. Pulling down firmly on the release pin usually allows you to slide the stock on/off of the buffer tube with ease.
The internal storage offered in certain stocks is ideal for carrying small items such as spare batteries or extra rounds. As long as the item is small enough, you can store it in there!
