Each year, when I get back from SHOT Show, the number one thing people usually ask me is which guns caught my eye. And I get it—the firearms of the show definitely receive the most attention and media coverage. However, the debuted and teased accessories can be equally as exciting!
Whether you’re heavily into optics, lights, lasers, or any other of the millions of accessories, SHOT Show is a great place to check out the latest and greatest. This year did not disappoint from an accessories perspective, so we’ve decided to showcase our favorites.
I think there should be something for everyone on this list, so keep reading…
EOTECH Vudu 3-9×32 SFP
EOTECH’s Vudu line of scopes is no stranger to “best of” lists such as this one.
All the models feature aircraft-grade aluminum construction, extremely high-quality anti-reflective lenses, and superior shock, water, and fog resistance. But with the brand new 3-9×32 SFP, you get all that and more, within a compact 6.8-inch housing.

It features a precision-focused HC1 SFP reticle, 10 brightness settings, and capped turrets. And, if you opt for the package that contains EOTECH’s ring mount and EFLX red dot, you’ll have an even more versatile optic setup that can go from your long-range rifle to AR-15 seamlessly.
Holosun IRIS Laser Series
Usually, we’re discussing optics with Holosun, but this year, the IRIS line stole a lot of attention.
Not everyone will need or want a laser device, but if you do, this is one line you need to consider. Whether you need a more basic single laser device or a quad-function multi-laser device, Holosun has you covered.

The most advanced model, the IRIS 4, is a quad-function multi-laser device that features an infrared illuminator, white light, visible laser, and infrared laser. Even with all those functions, the well-thought out control layout makes it relatively easy to manipulate with practice.
It’s compact, runs off of 2 CR123A or 18650 batteries, and can be purchased with a red or green visible laser. Whatever your illumination needs are, this should cover them.
Meta Tactical MX-1
Everyone and their neighbor seems to have a Glock these days. They are versatile, reliable, and have tremendous aftermarket support. Now, the new MX-1 from Meta Tactical takes your Glock to a whole new level.

So many accessory options! Source
By combining aircraft-grade aluminum components with polymer ones, Meta has ensured a proper balance of strength and weight. Unlike some competitors, the patented tool-free locking system allows you to quickly and easily insert and secure your Glock.
Thanks to the M-LOK slots and Picatinny rail, there is plenty of room for accessories, so you can further customize your build to your heart’s content. You can order it with a folding stock/brace/stabilizer, a full accessory kit, or as a simple base model with stock. Best of all, that base model costs just under $300, even at MSRP.
Meprolight MCO PRO
Enclosed optics are all the hype these days and for good reason. They provide superior protection against the elements, typically have sizeable viewing windows, and can fit a ton of technology within their beefy housings.
Meprolight’s MCO PRO packs most of your favorite features, such as a multiple-reticle system, shake-awake functionality, and automatic brightness adjustment, into a compact and attractive package.

I have a feeling we’ll see many more Flux/Meprolight builds like this one. Source
It’s also night vision compatible, features a 25,000+ hour battery life, and is IP67 rated. Whether you’re looking for a range optic that doesn’t see much action or bug out blaster optic to tackle the apocalypse, the MCO PRO looks like it could be a safe bet.
MDT LSS GEN 3 Modular Chassis System
If modularity is your thing, the MDT LSS GEN 3 Chassis System is for you!

The FDE finish finishes it off perfectly. Source
It ultimately consists of a center chassis that connects to the action but leaves essentially everything else customizable. From the handguard to the buttstock and everything in between, you can quickly swap components to suit your needs. Best of all, the handguard and buttstocks can be changed without affecting zero.
Whether you want to throw on an AR-style grip and a tactical forend, or a precision-style grip and competition forend, you’ll have plenty of configuration possibilities.
INFORCE ARC
I’ve personally been waiting for this, as I’ve been running INFORCE weapon lights for years. The ARC strays from INFORCE’s core product line of dedicated push-button rifle lights and offers a dual activation switch/pressure pad as well.

If you’re not hip to INFORCE, you’re missing out. Source
It puts out an impressive 1,400 lumens and runs on either a rechargeable 18650 battery or 2 CR123As. Having the dual-fuel options is a huge selling feature that I feel all lights should have at this point in time.
The 6061-T6 aluminum construction features a Type III hardcoat anodized finish, delivering superior durability. We’re not sure on what the price is going to land at, but the
ARC can gain some quick market share at the right price point.
Until Next Year
This article could have easily been two or three times longer, given all of the awesome products showcased earlier this year at SHOT Show. Hopefully, this serves as a reminder that you should keep your eyes out for not just firearms but also accessories each January!
Year after year, SHOT Show seems to be more impressive than the last, so I’m already looking forward to the next one. Until then, stay safe, train hard, and have fun!
