Who doesn’t love to sit back and relax while playing some Call of Duty? Whether you enjoy playing online against friends or teaming up to take out hordes of zombies, the weapons you choose can either help you achieve victory or cut your game time short.
The most recent release in the series is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which features many classic weapons based on real-life firearms. From popular pistols to battle-ready rifles, there are sure to be a few options that tickle your fancy.
Let’s look at some of our favorites you can use in the game and real life!
C9 (MP5 or HK94)
The C9 is one of the guns you have unlocked immediately within the game, which I will not complain about! It’s a full-auto submachine gun modeled after the infamous MP5/HK94.

It offers a standard 30-round capacity, keeps you light on your feet, and is ideal for close to medium-range scenarios. It’s used by police, military, and government agencies worldwide and has gained a reputation for its reliability.

Classy and capable, the MP5 is hard not to like. Source
You may not find as many accessories or aftermarket parts available for it as, say, the AR-15, but many companies have been pumping out products into the market to capitalize on the MP5’s popularity.
GPR 91 (L85A1/SA80)
Bullpup rifles are interesting and definitely are an acquired taste. The ergonomics aren’t quite what you’d hope for, reloading is awkward, and they look kind of strange. However, they can be an extremely capable defensive option once you train with and get used to them.

A splash of color adds to the interesting aesthetic. Source
The GPR 91 is modeled after the L85A1/SA80, chambered in your standard 5.56x45mm NATO, and accepts many of your AR-15 magazines. Heavily used by armed forces, the gun has proven itself in battle as a worthy companion, after it worked out its initial flaws.

The right accessories can make your L85A1 into a workhorse of a rifle. Source
There is plenty of room for attachments to customize it to fit your needs, and it delivers the stopping power you want in most scenarios. You’ll unlock it at level 28, so you don’t have to wait too long to test one in the game. I suggest you at least give it a shot…pun intended!
GS45 (HK USP45)
This pistol should be almost immediately recognizeable, regardless of its name in the game. It’s modeled after the HK USP45 and matches it’s superior performance.

Showing off your pistol in the streets is not the most incredible idea in real life. Source
You get ten rounds per magazine of powerful .45 ACP and it’s just as accurate in the game as in real life. If you get to handle one in person, you’ll find it has solid ergonomics, is well-balanced, and has a better-than-average trigger (albeit not great).

The USP45 can make for a great home defense pistol. Source
It has an accessory rail to mount your favorite lights, and there are some aftermarket sights you can swap the stock ones for if you wish. It doesn’t have a ton of aftermarket support, but it’s a reliable and accurate pistol that doesn’t break the bank.
DM-10 (Knight’s Armament SR-25)
You’ll have to work your behind off to unlock the DM-10, but once you do, you’ll see why it took so long. It’s one of the more powerful and accurate rifles outside the sniper class and is modeled after the Knight’s ARmament SR-25.

Pair the DM-10 with a quality scope and you’ll be hard to stop. Source
You get 20-rounds of devastating 7.62x51mm and the precision to place them exactly where you need to stop your enemies in their tracks. You can customize it until the sun comes up and still find ways to tinker with it.

Upgraded but not flashy is the way to go! Source
You could buy several rifles for the cost of one SR-25, but they say that you definitely get what you pay for with them!
ASG-89 (USAS-12)
If you like to run and gun with a semi-automatic shotgun and stop people from camping in corners, this is your gun! The ASG-89 is modeled after the USAS-12 and provides 6 rounds of heavy-hitting 12-gauge ammo per magazine in the game.

Reloading with a drum magazine is a good feeling. Source
Or, if you’re lucky enough to obtain a drum magazine, you can bump those capacity figures well into the double digits. You’ll find a carry handle with built-in sights and a pistol grip to help handle the recoil. The features aren’t fancy, but they are functional.

Do yourself a favor and spring for a drum magazine. Source
You’ll have to reach level 31 before it’s unlocked, but it’s worth the wait.
Final Thoughts
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has plenty of other great firearms to choose from, and these are just some of our favorites. Whether you’re a rifle, shotgun, or pistol fan, you’ll easily be able to find a few suitable options.
From playing a video game to shooting in real life, remember that training is essential! So stay safe, train hard, and have fun.
