If you’ve ever been in the market for aftermarket pistol parts, odds are, you’ve come across Tyrant CNC.
Especially if those aftermarket parts you were seeking were for a Glock.
Look around at all the Glock builds on the internet. Somewhere, there will most likely be an aftermarket part from Tyrant. Whether it be its legendary triggers, magazine extensions, or slide releases, you’ll see them all over the place.
And for good reason. Aside from aesthetics, Tyrant makes some hard-use tools for everyone from your average civilian to police and others who rely on their firearm daily.
Tyrant utilizes only the highest-quality materials and manufacturing processes. Many products are CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and feature a PVC-coated or anodized finish, similar to many of your AR-15 handguards and lower receivers. This gives your parts a longer lifespan and enhances their durability.
Because of Tyrant’s quality and community feedback, we’ve decided to start carrying a wide variety of its offerings, so let’s take a look at a few of them!
Mag Extensions (Glock, Sig, Springfield, H&K, S&W)
Mag extensions dramatically change the look of your firearm, help you fit a few extra rounds in, and allow you to rip that magazine out more easily if debris builds up.
Tyrant has mag extensions for Glock, Sig, Springfield, H&K, and Smith & Wesson, and you can bet we’ll be carrying them all!
The Glock magazine extensions typically add four to five rounds to many of your favorite Glocks (17, 19, 19x, 23, 26, 34, 35, 45), while the 43X/4848 have options for an extra one, two, or three rounds.
Are you more of a P320 kind of shooter? The P320 extension will increase your capacity by five rounds, while the P365 X-Macro extension will give you an extra three. However, the P365 X-Macro option will not work with lowers that feature mag wells flaring in.
For those who swear by the full-size M&P pistols, you’ll get five extra rounds. Shield carriers get an extra two. Both increases are well worth it.
Springfield Echelon fans get an extra five rounds, and those who carry a Hellcat or Hellcat Pro can get an extra three rounds in the magazine. With already impressive standard capacities, adding the mag extensions makes them fantastic.
For those who like the finer things, such as Heckler and Koch (VP9, VP40, and P30), you’ll be covered too, with an extra four or five rounds depending on caliber.
While the color options are not the same for every extension, they are all available in Black, Grey, and Gold. Specific extensions are available in colors such as blue, red, and machined aluminum. It all depends on what look you’re going for.
These magazine extensions almost always feature a spring to accommodate the extra space, though some do not require it. Just be sure to read our detailed product descriptions before installing!
Magwells
Magwells allow for more room for error. In a stressful situation, the extra space helps guide your magazine into the magwell so you don’t have to fumble around. This can be helpful for anything from defensive purposes to competition use.
Extra seconds matter all around.
These magazine wells, like the extensions, are CNC machined from aluminum. This helps protect the pistol’s frame while also adding to its aesthetics and performance.
For now, we’ll be carrying magwells for Glock pistols, but keep your eyes peeled for other platforms to come.
Extended Magazine & Slide Releases
If you constantly have to change your grip when shooting to reload, an extended magazine release may be the perfect component for you to upgrade. Glocks are notorious for this, which is why the extended magazine release is one of the more common aftermarket parts you see.
Tyrant’s CNC-machined releases enhance the feel and help reduce the amount your grip has to change when the tank runs empty. They add enough to give you a sweet spot between having enough to get your finger on and not becoming a snagging risk.

Stock Glock slide releases can be difficult to manipulate in a hurry, but with the extended slide releases from Tyrant, that’s a problem from the past.
Each slide release features an aggressive, raised texturing that locks into your thumb and is hard coat anodized for superior durability.
Like the other parts on this list, these releases come in many colorways to complement your build.
For now, we’ll only be carrying those made for the Glock, but again, keep your eyes peeled for others!
Triggers
Triggers are one product type we haven’t decided on yet, but let’s say we’re leaning toward adding them to the site.
One of Tyrant CNC’s most notable products is its triggers. These triggers are available for Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson, and Springfield pistols.
Since Glock triggers typically leave much to be desired from the factory, swapping it out is almost a no-brainer. Not to mention that these Tyrant aftermarket triggers look and feel much better.
They enhance the shooting experience in addition to aesthetics. Offering superior trigger breaks and resets, they’re the quickest way to change the feel of your pistol.
Conclusion
You always want to exercise caution when replacing your factory parts with aftermarket ones. If the correct tolerances are not met, many things can go wrong, and it’s best not to find out in a time of need.
However, you don’t have to worry about that here. Tyrant CNC has been in the game for a long time, and they make it easy to customize your pistol with confidence. Installing them by following Tyrant’s directions is still critical, and if you’re not confident doing so yourself, consult a gunsmith for help.

What accessories and components will be next for Tyrant? Source
I would love to see more earth-tone colors in the repertoire, such as OD Green, FDE, Dark Earth, and so on, across all parts, but I guess I’ll just keep my fingers crossed for now!
We’ll add more parts to the site soon, so stay tuned.
Be good and take care.
