Believe it or not, the 10mm is a rather versatile round. Want to defend yourself against an attacker? Or maybe an adult grizzly bear? Well, the 10mm will handle both with ease.
Enter the Glock 20.

The Glock 20 has been around for quite some time. It’s not the only pistol in Glock’s lineup chambered in 10mm, but it is the most usable. The Glock 40 is long, and the 29 is too small to wield the power of the 10mm.
The Glock 20 is the sweet spot. It’s not too large, yet it packs enough punch to stop any attacker, animal or human.
With such a powerful round, the magazine capacity must be low, right?
Nope. You get 15 rounds from the factory. That’s a lot of firepower. But just in case you want more, we’ll cover all sorts of magazine capacities!
Everyday Carry and Home Defense
We recommend factory magazines for EDC and home defense. I know you want to slap your 50-round drum mag in and go to town, but you need reliability and mobility first and foremost.
Factory Magazine
If you need a replacement for one of the magazines your Glock 20 came with or just want a few more strategically placed around the house, these are your magazines.
Remember, this is a full-powered pistol cartridge—far more powerful than 9mm and .45 ACP, so having 15 rounds is quite a great capacity, especially when using them in a reliable factory magazine. And just like the ones that came with your pistol, you’ll have those rear-facing witness holes to keep track of your remaining rounds.

For Capacity-Restricted Areas
Magazine restrictions are not ideal. You and I both know it, but unfortunately, there’s not much we can legally do about it. But there lies a solution.
Buy more 10-round magazines and practice reloading faster and more efficiently. With how smooth their reloads are, I’ve seen guys make two 10-round magazines seem like a long 20-rounder. You can do it too.
These genuine 10-round magazines will give you peace of mind, as they’ll be ready to go whenever you need them.
Range

Not much like quality range time with the Glock 20. Source
30 rounds of 10mm is a whole different ball game.
These SGM 30-round magazines also fit all Glock 10mm pistols, including the more miniature Glock 29 and the Big Brother Glock 40. Steel-lined polymer gives them a rigid construction, and I’ve found them also to be highly reliable.
Due to the length of the magazine, it wouldn’t be my first option for self-defense, but for the range, it simply means less time reloading and more time training!
Instead of buying factory magazines for the range, why not save money and buy a cheaper magazine? You’ll have more money for ammo and still get what you need come range day.
These ETS magazines come in either transparent or translucent smoke, which are both excellent for knowing how much ammo you have left in the magazine. And who doesn’t like to see those rounds stacked side by side?
The ETS magazine is made of polymer and is steel-lined, so durability should be good to go. It’s extremely reliable, too. I’ve used a few of them in other pistols and a few times with a Glock 40 and never had a hiccup.
I’m sure you’d fair just as well.
Same thing as the 15-round magazine, but with twice the capacity.
The same reliability can be said for the 30-round ETS magazine as well. Of course, they’re more prone to breaking, though, since they extend so far out there, but you’ll be alright.
But how about fifty rounds of 10mm? That’s right, fifty. For those of you running pistol-caliber carbines that can accept Glock-style magazines, this one is for you.
You should have a drum mag filled with 10mm for many reasons. You can use it for the range, self-defense (although it would be heavy), and whatever else you can think of. No matter what, it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Accessories
They make things easier and more fun. Why not?
A magazine loader is the best way to save your thumbs and time. Best of all? They are able to be used with a wide array of calibers and models, so you can use them with plenty of your favorite pistols. You might as well grab one for home and one for your range bag. It only makes sense.
Save the thumbs, save the time.
Speaking of saving time, how about on your reloads? Throwing your magazines in your pockets isn’t the worst, but doing so can take away from the time it takes to get those extra rounds on target.
Mag pouches can help you there. The best part is the TACO is universal.

I don’t expect you to have a war belt, but efficiency is always recommended. Source
Conclusion
The Glock 20 is an extremely capable pistol. There is nothing like a 10mm round when it comes to defense. Well, when it comes to pistols, at least. And the Glock 20 launches them best.
Whether you need some factory mags or want to go all out with a drum, you’ll find them here.
So make sure you have some excellent mags and get to training.
Be good and take care.
