Just as the names suggest, the angle of the foregrip is the main difference. Vertical foregrips tend to be bulkier and provide more of a standalone point of contact, while angled foregrips are often used in conjunction with a “thumb over top” grip on the rifle’s handguard.

Pistol grips are very easy to replace and usually require simply removing a nut and star washer. There are a few additional steps to follow, but the process is very simple and quick.
