Magwells

Magwells are very beneficial not only for competitions but also for home defense, concealed carry, and plain old range fun. You don’t have to worry about any “designated use”.

Most magwells require no special tools and are very easy to install. Typically, only an Allen key or screwdriver is needed.

You may notice that some magwells have a very large “flare” to them. Oftentimes, the larger the opening, the easier it is to guide your magazine in and reload. However, you must keep in mind that the larger the flare, the harder it may be to concealed carry.
