The only 1911 mag you should buy.

Sig cuts their mag catch notch 0.020" - .0.030" lower than other mags. That means your rounds sit up slightly higher when the mag is locked in. When they are stripped off, rather than bouncing off of the feed ramp and possibly jamming, they are driven almost directly into the chamber. That makes for more reliable feeding, no question about it. When I carry, I carry the Sig mags only.

One of the best 1911 mags.

I had a very unreliable 1911, the round would fail to go full into battery by about 1/2". This would happen an average of once every 10 rounds or so (with CMC mags and ball ammo). Took it to a gunsmith that only works on 1911's. He said before doing anything, to get some Sig 1911 mags. He said they have the tightest specs and an ideal feeding angle, and will fix most feeding problems. The gun now runs 100%. Very happy and will be getting more.
