This magazine was first showcased last year when the Magpul PMAG 21 round magazine was released. No matter what gun is released, people always look to aftermarket manufacturers to extend the capacity of their gun. There is something about pulling up to the range with the extra 10-15 rounds in your magazine that gives a thrill. In all seriousness, they do also have a viable place in duty use and self-defense.
