At the heart of the N1 pistol is the serialized 7075 aluminum alloy frame housed in a gunsmith-replaceable grip module. The frame features full length slide rails that provide a smooth and strong action and is hard coat anodized for wear and corrosion resistance.

Connecting the shooter to the N1 is the high strength glass-filled polymer grip module. The grip features a proprietary non-slip texture in key areas and a 1913 rail on the dustcover that allows mounting of aftermarket lights and lasers. The trigger guard is undercut to maximize grip area and the magazine release and slide stop are designed for concealment and low snag. Absent from the N1 grip are unsightly pins that can walk out or interfere with ergonomics.
