Description
This is the Hexmag Series 2 AR-15 15/30 Round Magazine. This Hexmag 15 Round works best with .223 Remington and .5,56 NATO ammunition. According to Hexmag, it can also fit .300 AAC Blackout, .458 SOCOM, and .50 Beowulf calibers.

Made of Hexmag’s own PolyHex2 advanced impact-resistant composite, this magazine is incredibly durable despite its lightweight design. Hexmag’s iconic hexagonal pattern is layered on the magazine, guaranteeing a sure grip when handling it. The high-visibility follower makes it easy to tell when the chamber is clear and when your magazine is empty.

Following the rules

Mags are nice 15/30, Unfortunately only allowed 15 rounds in Colorado, so these are Colorado complaint and still a full size mag so dont look funny.

Mag capacity

I like the 30 round length of this 15 capacity mag. I never fully fill my mags to better ensure against failure of loading the first round. However, I’ve been out twice to shoot with this mag now and find it best to only load 13 rounds to ensure proper loading & firing of the first round. This significantly reduces the overall firepower of the rifle. Why can’t a 30 round spring be used since the length of the mag would accommodate that spring. I purchased these mags due to legislation passed in my State limiting mag size to 17 rounds. Otherwise I’d only purchase 30’s. Do you know of a 17 round mag?
