Walther has been busy releasing several new pistols following the success of its PDP and WMP lines and bringing back some classic pistols with a facelift.
Walther is not one of those brands that gets a lot of recognition among many gun groups. You’ll rarely find someone blasting away with one at the range, but they deserve the eye a bit more. Most who have had their hands on one would agree.

Some fine looking pistols! Source
I got my hands on the PDP SD Pro a few months ago at a move-and-shoot event and was blown away by how well it performed. The ergonomics and trigger are top-tier, and I wasn’t the only one feeling that way.
Walther has always focused on Trigger, Ergonomics, and Quality, a philosophy used to make all its pistols, including these newest ones!
PDP PRO-X PMM (9mm)
The PDP PRO-X is one of the most aesthetically pleasing pistols on the market. It begs to be a mantle piece yet gives the ability to be a flat and reliable shooter.
A compensator from Parker Mountain Machine sits flush on a full-size grip, making the transition seamless and super attractive. The compensator has a large port to handle various grain ammunition, keeping your options open.

The PDP PRO-X’s two main focuses were the trigger and grip. One of the pistol’s most notable features is the Dynamic Performance Trigger, which made the PDP tremendous. It also has a similar grip style with an aluminum magazine well, which lowers reload time.
The PDP PRO-X is available in compact and full sizes, with a magazine capacity of 20 rounds in the full size and 18 rounds in the compact. Both can be utilized for duty, home defense, or concealed carry.

PDP F-Series PRO (9mm)
Concealed carriers rejoice. There is a new contender for your waistband.
Designed with a reduced grip circumference for smaller hands and an overall smaller footprint to tuck away easily, the PDP-F Series is focused on making your concealed carry experience as easy as possible.
Like Smith and Wesson, which have the EZ-Rack system, the PDP-F features a 20% reduction in the force needed to rack the slide back. The Performance Duty trigger has a reduced trigger reach and crisp tactile feedback, which Walther states is geared toward the female shooter.
This enhances the ergonomics and provides a platform that gives you more confidence in your shots and more control over placement.
